Jessica Pacheco is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She attended California State University, Fullerton obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in human services with a track in Substance Abuse. Jessica later switched her focus to work with High-Risk Adolescents and provided support in school settings. It was through this work that she realized the high need for and importance of mental health support in the community. Jessica wanted to further her education and earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University.
Jessica is bilingual offering sessions in Spanish and English and has focused on working with Children, Adolescents, and Adults who have experienced Trauma applying Seeking Safety while working on processing difficult emotions. Additionally, she has been working with Adults to help increase a positive mindset and integrate them back to their life with stronger skills to be able to handle the stressors of everyday life.
Treating patients of all ages, Jessica has worked with Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Families with Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, ADHD, Substance Abuse, PTSD, Trauma and Stress Related Disorders, Self-Esteem, Parenting, Child Abuse, Behavioral Issues, and Life Transitions. She includes approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, MAP, and when working with clients to help decrease Depression, Anxiety, and Trauma symptoms.
Jessica understands that therapy can be scary but you’re here and that’s the first step. You’ve realized that you don’t need to do this alone and that you’re in need of help and she is here to offer you the support and change you are seeking.
